A Disney group works when every person has a role people can name and the whole crew shares one colour story. When I style a group, I settle the characters first and the shopping second, because the clothes are the easy part. The harder part is wigs, shoes and props that people will still tolerate four hours in. Disney and Pixar casts are flexible for mixed crowds: friends, families, coworkers or teens can all fit, and most films have a supporting character waiting for whoever joins late. I like one shared detail across everyone, such as ears, capes or a repeated colour, with each person's own accessories carrying their character. The thirty casts below are laid out so you can compare them side by side.

Casting the Group Before Anyone Buys Anything
The groups I see go wrong usually started with someone ordering a costume before the cast was settled. Then the fifth person joins, and there's no character left that suits them. I'd get everyone in one chat and agree on three things first: the film, who plays whom, and the shared colour or detail that links you.
Hand out the hardest roles to the people who will actually do the work. A long red wig, a horned headpiece or full face paint needs someone patient. The simpler supporting roles, such as the aliens, the dwarfs or the royal guards, are the right fit for the friend who will only commit to a hoodie and ears.
- Count adults and kids separately. Some casts lean grown-up, others have obvious child roles like Boo, Jack-Jack or Dash.
- Ask about shoes early. Anyone with a long walk ahead should get a role that works in sneakers.
- Keep one flexible role open, a supporting character who can be added or dropped without breaking the set.
- Agree on the level of effort so one person in full makeup isn't standing next to four in plain T-shirts.
1. Mickey And Friends Disney Group Costume

The classic six are Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto, all fan-made from everyday clothes. Mickey is a black top, red shorts, yellow shoes, white gloves and round ears. Minnie takes a red polka-dot dress, black tights, yellow heels, gloves and a bow headband. Donald needs a blue sailor shirt, white bottoms, yellow footwear and a small sailor cap, and Daisy coordinates in lavender with a big hair bow and pink shoes. Goofy is an orange sweater, green hat, blue pants and brown boots; Pluto is a golden hoodie, matching joggers, floppy ears and sneakers. The white gloves do more work than anything else here, so I buy cotton ones a size up and keep a spare pair, because they grey fast once people start eating. Rosy cheeks and a small black nose dot are all the makeup this group needs.
2. Disney Princess Group Costume

Princess groups suit people who each want their own colour and silhouette. Cinderella is a pale blue dress, bun, sparkly headband, silver flats and a small clock prop. Belle wears a golden full-skirted dress, half-up brown hair, rose earrings and gold shoes. Ariel needs a purple top, green skirt, red wig and shell accessories; Jasmine a turquoise jumpsuit, gold jewellery and a long dark ponytail; Rapunzel a lavender dress with a long flower-trimmed braid and pink flats. My one warning: full skirts take up real room. Five princesses in a narrow hallway turn into a traffic jam, so I suggest at least two of them choose a slimmer skirt, and everyone keeps props small enough to hold in one hand all night.
3. Disney Villains Group Costume

Villains give a dramatic entrance that is still fine for a family event. Cruella wears a black dress, spotted faux-fur wrap, red gloves, a black-and-white wig and red shoes. Maleficent needs a long black gown, purple-lined cape, horn headpiece, staff and pointed boots. Ursula is a fitted black dress, purple tights, white wig, shell necklace and ankle boots, and the Evil Queen a purple dress, black cape, gold crown and red lip. Hades works in a charcoal tunic, a blue-tinted wig and smoky eyes. Horn headpieces are what usually fail first, because they're top-heavy and slide back. I anchor them with a headband sewn to a wig cap or pinned through the hair, not just pushed on. Repeating purple, black and red across all five ties the costumes together in a photo.
4. Toy Story Disney Group Costume

Toy Story is the cast I hand to big crews, because the colours are bold and the clothes are mostly things people own. Woody is a yellow checked shirt, cow-print vest, jeans, red bandana, cowboy hat and brown boots. Jessie needs a white western shirt, jeans, red hat, braided red wig and boots. Buzz is a white jumpsuit with green and purple foam panels, a purple hood, gloves and white sneakers. Bo Peep wears a pale blue jumpsuit, pink cape, blonde updo and staff. The aliens are the easy add-ons: blue shirts, green caps with antennae and green face paint. Rex and Hamm can join in green and pink hoodies with felt details. For Buzz's panels I use EVA foam rather than thin craft foam, since it holds a curve and doesn't crease when he sits down.
5. Inside Out Emotions Disney Group Costume

Inside Out turns a group into a colour chart, and that's why it reads so well. Joy wears a yellow dress, cropped blue wig, gold makeup and yellow flats. Sadness is a cream sweater, blue pants, round glasses and a blue wig. Anger takes a white shirt, striped tie, brown pants and red face makeup; Disgust a green dress, scarf, green bob and purple eye shadow; Fear a lavender shirt, checked pants, bow tie and a tall purple wig. Anxiety wears orange separates with a high ponytail, and Envy teal clothes with a dark teal wig. Full-face red or green paint is the hard part. It transfers onto every collar and hug, so I'd do it in thin layers, press translucent powder over each one, and keep that person in a dark or matching top.
6. The Incredibles Disney Group Costume

The Parr family is about as coordinated as a group gets, since everyone wears the same suit. Each person needs a red fitted top, red leggings or pants, black briefs layered over the base, black gloves, a black eye mask and black boots. The chest emblem can be felt or a printable fabric transfer. I prefer felt stitched on at a few points, because iron-on transfers on stretchy fabric crack once the wearer moves. Mr. Incredible can add padded foam shoulders, Elastigirl a sleek chin-length brown wig, and Violet a long black wig with soft purple eye makeup. Dash wears short blond hair and a light running medal, and Jack-Jack is the easiest of all for the youngest: a soft red romper and black socks. Keep hair slick and makeup minimal so the red does the talking.
7. Frozen Disney Group Costume

Frozen can be done without heavy theatre pieces, and I'd keep it that way. Elsa wears an icy blue dress, sheer cape, side braid, crystal clips and pale flats. Anna needs a dark blue skirt, black embroidered vest, magenta cape, braided wig and practical boots. Kristoff is a charcoal tunic, fur-trimmed vest, dark pants, knit cap and brown boots. Olaf works in white separates with black felt buttons, a soft carrot nose and a twig headband, and Sven in brown with a cream chest panel, antlers and boots. Elsa's sheer cape is lovely in photos and miserable in wind, so I tack it to the shoulders at two points rather than tying it at the neck. Snowflake pins or blue sparkle accessories connect everyone without slowing anyone down.
8. Peter Pan Disney Group Costume

A Peter Pan lineup gives you Peter, Wendy, Tinker Bell, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee. Peter wears a green tunic, matching tights or slim pants, a brown belt, a pointed felt cap, a toy flute and ankle boots. Wendy needs a pale blue dress, blue hair ribbon, soft brown curls and ballet flats. Tinker Bell wears a leaf-hemmed green dress, blonde bun, sheer wings and shimmer. Hook takes a red coat, ruffled shirt, dark pants, big feathered hat, curly wig and black boots, and Mr. Smee a striped shirt, blue shorts, red cap, round glasses and sandals. I always swap a hard hook for a gold glove on Hook's hand. A real hook catches on sleeves and bags in a crowd, and the glove still reads as the character.
9. Alice In Wonderland Disney Group Costume

Wonderland gives five strong silhouettes: Alice, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts, the White Rabbit and the Cheshire Cat. Alice is a blue knee-length dress, white apron, black headband, blonde wig, striped tights and black flats. The Hatter wears a colourful tailcoat, patterned vest, bow tie, orange wig and an oversized top hat. The Queen needs a red-and-black dress, heart crown, red lips and a heart scepter. The Rabbit wears a red blazer, white pants, ears, round glasses and a pocket watch, and the Cheshire Cat pink-and-purple stripes with ears, tail and a purple wig. Oversized hats are the piece I fuss over. Without a comb or elastic under the chin they tip forward every time the wearer laughs.
10. Winnie The Pooh Disney Group Costume

Soft colours and sweatshirt basics make the Hundred Acre Wood easy on families and teachers. Pooh wears a red T-shirt, mustard pants, round bear ears and red sneakers, with a light honey-pot prop. Tigger needs orange clothing with black felt stripes, a striped tail, ears and whisker makeup. Piglet combines a pink top, darker pink bottoms and upright ears. Eeyore is blue-grey sweats with floppy ears and a detachable tail; Rabbit wears yellow separates, long ears and white gloves; Christopher Robin takes shorts, a collared shirt, yellow sweater vest and brown loafers. Felt stripes on Tigger peel if you only glue them to a knit, so I stitch the ends down by hand. Eeyore's tail should snap or pin on, because someone always sits on it.
11. Monsters Inc. Disney Group Costume

Monsters, Inc. leans on texture and bright colour. Sulley is a turquoise hoodie and joggers with soft purple spots, small horns, a furry tail and sneakers. Mike is a lime-green tunic or round foam-backed shirt with one big eye, tiny horns and green leggings. Boo is an oversized pink T-shirt, purple leggings, pigtails and a toy monster. Roz wears a mustard cardigan, brown skirt, grey wig, pointed glasses and burgundy lipstick. Randall takes purple-and-blue fitted separates with felt scales, a curled tail and slick hair. Faux fur for Sulley sheds onto everyone nearby, so I'd use fleece for the body and save a strip of fur for the hood or cuffs. It's warmer too, which matters outside.
12. Lilo And Stitch Disney Group Costume

The Lilo and Stitch cast is bright and island-themed: Lilo, Stitch, Nani, David, Jumba and Pleakley. Lilo wears a red dress with white leaf shapes, long dark hair, a flower clip, sandals and a small camera. Stitch is a blue hoodie and joggers with big felt ears, a lighter belly panel and blue nose paint. Nani pairs a casual crop top over a tank with denim shorts and long wavy hair. David wears a printed shirt, necklace and shorts; Jumba combines purple clothing with a white lab coat, round ears and glasses; Pleakley needs a green dress, purple wig, wide hat and big glasses. Stitch's ears are the detail to get right. Felt alone flops, so I sandwich a thin layer of craft foam inside and sew the ears to the hood itself.
13. Encanto Disney Group Costume

Encanto has roles for almost any group size, plus embroidery and flowers to play with. Mirabel wears a white embroidered blouse, turquoise skirt, green glasses, curly bob, butterfly bag and espadrilles. Isabela needs a lavender floral dress and long dark hair with blossoms. Luisa takes a white blouse, blue skirt, red hair ribbon and a strong ponytail. Bruno is a green poncho over brown, a curly wig and soft under-eye shading. Dolores wears a red-and-yellow ruffled dress with a red bow headband, and Camilo a yellow poncho, white shirt and dark pants. You don't need to embroider Mirabel's skirt. Iron-on appliques at the hem work, but I add a few stitches at each corner, because the heat bond alone tends to lift after one wash. Shared flower accessories tie the family together.
14. Moana Disney Group Costume

Moana's crew is a seafaring group: Moana, Maui, Te Fiti, Tamatoa and Hei Hei. Moana wears a red patterned bandeau over a secure tan top, a cream printed skirt, a long wavy wig, a blue pendant and sandals. Maui takes a tan bodysuit or brown shirt and shorts with washable geometric designs, a curly wig, leaf necklace and light foam hook. Te Fiti is a flowing green dress covered in fabric leaves and flowers with a long green wig. Tamatoa wears shiny purple-and-gold clothing with a soft shell backpack, and Hei Hei mixes red, blue and yellow with a feathered headpiece. I'd draw Maui's designs on the fabric, not on skin. Fabric markers on a bodysuit look cleaner than body paint and don't smear on everyone at the party.
15. The Lion King Disney Group Costume

The Lion King is an earth-tone group, carried mostly by ears, tails and makeup. Simba wears golden clothing with a tan chest panel, round ears, a slim tail and warm shading. Nala takes cream-and-tan separates with soft cat-eye makeup. Timon is rust clothing with a pale stomach panel, upright ears and a long tail, and Pumbaa burgundy and brown layers with a soft snout headband and small tusks. Rafiki needs a grey tunic, blue and red face accents, a white wig and a light walking stick. Scar wears dark brown with a black mane collar and green eye makeup. Tails are where these looks fall apart. I sew a loop to the tail end and slip it over the wrist, so nobody drags it through a doorway.
16. The Little Mermaid Disney Group Costume

The Little Mermaid group brings an undersea palette: Ariel, Prince Eric, Ursula, Sebastian and Flounder. Ariel wears a purple fitted top, a shimmering green maxi skirt, a long red wig and shell jewellery. Eric needs a white rolled-sleeve shirt, blue pants, a red sash and black boots. Ursula takes a black velvet dress, purple tights, a short white wig and bold lavender makeup. Sebastian works in red separates with foam claw mitts and a red cap, and Flounder in yellow with blue felt stripes and a fin headpiece. Claw mitts look great and stop you holding a drink or a phone, so I cut an opening at the palm side. A long red synthetic wig also tangles at the nape within an hour, so I braid it loosely underneath before going out.
17. Beauty And The Beast Disney Group Costume

Beauty and the Beast fills a group with Belle, the Beast, Gaston, Lumiere, Cogsworth and Mrs. Potts. Belle wears a golden ball gown or the blue village dress with a white apron, half-up brown hair, a rose and flats. The Beast needs a royal blue coat, ruffled shirt, black pants and a furry hood with small horns. Gaston is a red tunic, black pants, yellow gloves and tall boots. Lumiere wears cream and gold with candle-shaped foam cuffs, Cogsworth brown formalwear with a clock-face chest panel, and Mrs. Potts a white-and-purple dress with a teapot hat. For the Beast, I'd go with a furry hood over a full mask every time. The wearer can see, eat and talk, and the coat and horns already tell everyone who he is.
18. Aladdin Disney Group Costume

Aladdin's cast is jewel-toned: Aladdin, Jasmine, Genie, Jafar, Abu and the Magic Carpet. Aladdin wears a purple vest, cream pants, red sash, small red cap and slip-on shoes. Jasmine takes a turquoise jumpsuit, a gold headband and jewellery, and a long bubble ponytail. Genie is blue clothing with gold cuffs, a red sash and a high black ponytail. Jafar wears a black-and-red robe, a tall curved headpiece and a serpent-topped foam staff. Abu needs brown clothing, a red vest and monkey ears, and one person becomes the Carpet in a patterned purple tunic. If Genie wants blue skin, I'd keep the paint to the face and use blue gloves and a long-sleeve top for the rest. Full-body paint is a lot of work for a single evening and it ends up on the furniture.
19. Tangled Disney Group Costume

Tangled covers Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Mother Gothel, Pascal and the royal guards. Rapunzel wears a lavender lace-up dress and an extremely long blonde braid dotted with flowers. Flynn takes a white shirt, teal vest, brown pants, a satchel and knee-high boots. Mother Gothel wears a dark red velvet dress, a wide gold belt and big black curls. Pascal is a bright green hoodie and leggings with a curled tail and a big-eyed headband, and the guards wear grey tunics, cream pants and soft helmets. The braid is heavy if it's real wig fibre all the way down, so I make the length from yarn braided over a foam core and clip it to the wig. Treat the foam frying pan as a joke for photos, never as something to swing.
20. Snow White And Seven Dwarfs Disney Group Costume

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is built for eight or more people. Snow White wears a blue bodice, yellow skirt, red cape, short black bob and red bow. Each dwarf takes a different coloured oversized tunic, a brown belt, leggings, a soft pointed hat, a rounded nose and sturdy boots. Doc gets glasses and a clipboard, Grumpy crossed felt eyebrows, Happy rosy cheeks, Sleepy a pillow, Bashful pink blush, Sneezy a big handkerchief and Dopey oversized ears. Keep the beards light by using soft costume fibre on elastic. I'd put the elastic over the ears, not around the back of the head, since it pulls the beard up into the mouth. If more people join, add the Evil Queen and some woodland animals in comfortable brown outfits.
21. Cinderella Disney Group Costume

A Cinderella group pulls in the Fairy Godmother, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine and both stepsisters. Cinderella wears a pale blue dress, matching headband, high bun, black choker and sparkly flats. The Fairy Godmother takes a soft blue robe, hooded cape, white wig, star wand and silver shoes. Prince Charming is a white military-style jacket, red pants, gold shoulder trim and black boots. Lady Tremaine wears burgundy with a tall grey updo, green jewellery and stern eyes. Anastasia goes pink and Drizella green, both with puffed sleeves, big updos, bows and loud blush. A clock and soft mice finish the story. The stepsisters are the fun roles, and I tell people they can go as broad as they like with the blush, since a bit of comedy is the point of those two.
22. Sleeping Beauty Fairies Disney Group Costume

Flora, Fauna, Merryweather, Aurora and Maleficent make a tidy five-person set. Aurora wears a pink or blue off-the-shoulder gown, long blonde curls, a gold crown and matching flats. Flora is red, Fauna green and Merryweather blue, each in a hooded cape and dress with a white collar, a small pointed hat, a short grey wig and a star wand. Maleficent gives the contrast in a long black robe, purple cape lining, horned headpiece and green eye shadow. The three fairies only work if their colours are clean and saturated. I'd buy the three fabrics together in one trip so the red, green and blue sit at the same brightness. Keep wands and staff light with rounded ends, and small gold crown motifs can link everyone.
23. Hocus Pocus Disney Group Costume

The Sanderson sisters are a three-friend witch trio, and fan-made versions are some of the most requested looks I see. Winifred wears a green-and-purple layered gown, a structured cape, a bright red curled wig, peaked lip makeup, a spellbook clutch and black boots. Mary takes a rust-and-orange patchwork dress, a textured apron, a dark updo with purple streaks and buckled ankle boots. Sarah wears a burgundy corset-style top over a cream blouse, a flowing purple skirt and long wavy blonde hair. A fourth friend can be the black cat in black clothes, ears, tail and whiskers. Winifred's wig makes or breaks the trio. Tease it at the crown and set it with wig spray before the day, because those curls drop flat in damp air. Brooms and books are plenty as props.
24. The Nightmare Before Christmas Disney Group Costume

Nightmare Before Christmas mixes Halloween graphics with jewel tones: Jack, Sally, Zero, the Mayor and Oogie Boogie. Jack wears a black pinstripe suit, white shirt, bat bow tie, smooth white face paint and slicked hair. Sally needs a patchwork dress, a long red wig, pale blue makeup with painted stitches and black boots. Zero is flowing white layers, a floppy ear headband and an orange nose. The Mayor wears a dark suit with a two-sided round hat and a tall collar, and Oogie Boogie a loose tan hooded tunic with black felt features. White face paint on Jack streaks if it goes on thick. I sponge two thin coats, set each with powder, and do the black around the eyes last so it doesn't drag through the white.
25. Haunted Mansion Ghosts Disney Group Costume

The Haunted Mansion group can look eerie and refined without scary makeup. Ballroom guests wear faded Victorian gowns, tailcoats, waistcoats, lace gloves, top hats and antique-style jewellery in dusty teal, grey, lavender and muted blue. Pale foundation, cool eye shadow and soft grey contour give the ghostly finish. The bride wears a vintage white dress, veil, white wig and faux bouquet. The three hitchhiking ghosts take a bowler, a top hat and a travel cap with worn coats and scarves, and a mansion attendant can join in a deep green uniform with a pillbox hat and purple lipstick. Thrift stores are the best source here. Old formalwear is already faded, and a light dust of grey dry shampoo on the shoulders ages it further without wrecking it.
26. DuckTales Disney Group Costume

DuckTales is a crew you can assemble mostly from basics: Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Scrooge McDuck and Launchpad. The three nephews wear white tops, white shorts or pants, yellow tights, duck-bill caps and yellow sneakers, with Huey in red, Dewey in blue and Louie in green. Webby takes a pink-and-purple outfit, a hair bow and a short white wig. Scrooge needs a blue coat, red collar, top hat, round glasses and a cane. Launchpad wears a brown bomber, green shirt, tan pants, aviator cap with goggles and an orange scarf. The bills are worth building properly. A cap with a felt bill stiffened by a sheet of craft foam keeps its shape far better than felt alone. Soft white feather cuffs repeat the duck idea across everyone.
27. Chip And Dale Rescue Rangers Disney Group Costume

Rescue Rangers costumes are practical and full of character. Chip wears a brown bomber jacket, cream shirt, dark pants, fedora, chipmunk ears and a brown nose. Dale takes a red Hawaiian shirt, tan pants, a red nose, tousled hair and ears. Gadget is a lavender jumpsuit with blue goggles, a blonde ponytail, mouse ears and a tool belt holding foam tools. Monterey Jack wears a tan safari shirt, a red mustache, brown pants, ears and a backpack, and Zipper a green top, red pants, clear wings and an antenna headband. Ears on top of a fedora don't sit well, so for Chip I sew small ears straight onto the hat band instead of wearing a headband underneath. Shared utility belts connect the group.
28. Big Hero 6 Disney Group Costume

Big Hero 6 is the futuristic pick: Hiro, Baymax, Go Go, Wasabi, Honey Lemon and Fred. Hiro wears a purple hoodie under light black-and-purple foam armour, messy dark hair, fingerless gloves and sneakers. Baymax needs a roomy white inflatable-style suit or padded white separates with simple black eyes. Go Go wears black with yellow armour panels and a short dark wig with purple streaks, and Wasabi green-and-blue armour over dark basics with a visor. Honey Lemon takes a yellow dress with pink protective pieces, a long blonde ponytail and a round purse, and Fred blue monster armour with a horned hood. Inflatable suits look fun, but the wearer can't sit, fit through doors easily or stay cool. I'd steer Baymax toward padded separates for any long night.
29. Zootopia Disney Group Costume

Zootopia mixes animal accessories with work clothes: Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, Chief Bogo, Clawhauser and Bellwether. Judy wears a blue police-style vest, navy pants, grey rabbit ears, a short grey wig, a pink nose, a utility belt and black boots. Nick takes a green printed shirt, striped tie, tan pants, fox ears and tail. Bogo is a dark blue uniform with a buffalo horn headband, and Clawhauser a light blue shirt, spotted ears and a foam donut. Bellwether wears a pale blue blazer, skirt, white curled wig, sheep ears and round glasses. Judy's tall ears need a wire or a strip of foam inside, or they fold over by the second hour. I also keep police-style pieces clearly costume, so nobody mistakes them for the real thing.
30. Wreck-It Ralph Disney Group Costume

The last cast is Wreck-It Ralph: Ralph, Vanellope, Fix-It Felix, Sergeant Calhoun and King Candy. Ralph wears an orange plaid shirt under red overalls, a messy brown wig, oversized foam hands and work boots. Vanellope takes a mint hoodie, brown pleated skirt, striped tights and a black ponytail with candy clips. Felix wears a blue work shirt, jeans, a yellow cap, a tool belt and a light gold foam hammer. Calhoun is black futuristic clothing with silver foam armour and a short blonde wig, and King Candy a red-and-cream royal coat, white tights, a curled white wig and a tiny crown. Ralph's hands are funny for the first hour. After that, he'll want to take them off, so I make them slip on over the gloves and give him somewhere to clip them.
Ears, Wigs and Headpieces That Survive the Whole Evening
Almost every costume above leans on something worn on the head, and that's where most of my repairs happen. Plastic headbands pinch behind the ears after an hour or two, so I wrap the ends with a little felt or ribbon before anyone wears them. For heavier pieces, such as horns, a teapot hat or a tall Hatter hat, I sew the piece to a headband and add two wig clips or a strip of elastic under the hair at the back.
Cheap synthetic wigs shed and tangle, especially long ones. Give them a shake outdoors and a gentle brush with a wide comb before the day, and spray them lightly with fabric softener mixed with water to cut the static. Keep them away from candles, ovens and hair dryers, since synthetic fibre frizzes or melts with heat.
What to put in a group repair bag
- Safety pins in two sizes and a few bobby pins
- A small roll of double-sided fabric tape for hems and capes
- Translucent powder and makeup wipes for face paint touch-ups
- A spare pair of white gloves if the cast includes Mickey or a dwarf
Moving Around as a Crowd of Eight
Big groups slow everything down: doorways, parking, getting a photo with everyone in frame. I'd keep wide pieces, like ball gowns, inflatable suits and foam armour, to two or three people at most, and put the slimmer costumes on the people who'll be holding doors or keeping track of kids.
If the group is walking outside after dark, at least a few costumes should be light-coloured or carry reflective tape on the back. Dark villain casts look sharp but disappear on an unlit street, so a small clip-on light on a bag or belt is worth having.
Your Headcount Decides the Film
Once you know how many people are coming, the list narrows itself, and comfort and budget do the rest. I'd start with clothing everyone already owns and add the character colours, ears, wigs, capes or one handmade prop on top. One repeated accessory or makeup detail keeps individual characters looking like a single group. Light materials and walkable shoes matter most for school events, parties and long evenings outside. Before the night, get everyone dressed together and take one test photo. It shows you missing colours or a character nobody can name, and those are easy to fix with a few days in hand. A Disney group doesn't need expensive store costumes to look finished.
